Infinite boredom
Even the air has stopped moving
There is no sign of life anymore
Time shows no propensity to pass

It makes you wanna end it all
Except even that amount of activity is abhorred
Thoughts decay in dull heads

Sounds sights and smells
Mean nothing to anyone
Meaningless words oft repeated
Akin to a cerebral power drill

Boredom spawns boredom
Unavoidable chain reactions of
Inactive body and mind
Productivity be damned
Is this what absolute zero feels like

Although not a sin in itself
It leads to many, beware
When did listening become such torture
The inevitable mental disintegration
That comes with success of
Sitting through a mind-numbing presentation
